Artist Donates Limited Prints DELTA Ministries International is an exceptional missions organization because of the value it places on the local church. When I saw its video about its Haitian relief efforts, I got tears in my eyes. Since I am still recovering from Lyme disease, and can’t go myself, I thought donating my art could be a way for me to help.  To view and order prints, click here

Haiti Relief & Recovery Teams Our hearts have been moved as we have watched the images during the aftermath of the earthquake in Haiti.  Yet we know that God has not been surprised by this disaster.  In fact, quite the opposite, He is at work in this situation bringing glory and honor to His name. In partnership with "Haiti 4 Him", DELTA's strategy is to mobilize prayer, short-term mission teams and giving for long-term relief and recovery of Haiti.
Resources DELTA Ministries can provide you with the necessary resources needed to effectively train and mobilize your team for ministry.  These resources include websites, articles, curriculum and ministry tools.  These resources will help you learn and share about Jesus Christ to others as you serve on short-term mission teams:

Mission and Purpose

"The mission of DELTA Ministries International is to be the catalyst for the local church in shaping the character of individuals for the purpose of long-term personal change and world impact."

The focus of DELTA Ministries International is the lives of individuals.  We believe that if the life and character of the individual are developed and in submission to God, then they will have an effective ongoing ministry both cross-culturally and after they return home.

We seek to view the circumstances and events of life from a Kingdom Perspective realizing that God has a greater plan at work than ours and that it may not always be visible to us.  Our agenda is always
secondary to God's.

We seek to focus on process over product.  While we want the end product of our ministry to be professional and glorifying to God, at the end of the day, the process by which God shapes our lives and the lives of those we're ministering to is of greater importance than a quantified product.

The method by which we seek to accomplish these things is short-term teams.  We believe God has uniquely called and equipped this organization to mobilize the local church towards short-term missions, assist the local churches in facilitating short-term teams and training the local churches for effective short-term ministry.

We seek to be field driven in the short-term ministries we do.   Our goal is to bless, assist and compliment the ongoing, long-term ministry, not hinder or damage it.

TESTIMONIES

During my summer of ministry with the original MOP team, I knew that I would serve the Lord, in some form, for the rest of my life.  I didn't know what direction that commitment would take me.  I thought perhaps I would be a faithful attendee and a lay leader in some small church or maybe even a teacher on the mission field.  Looking back I can see how God used my involvment with MOP to help prepare me to serve him as a Pastor.
